Casa Mia in Jupiter, the happening spot that opened four months ago in the space formerly occupied by Marc's Chophouse in Jupiter, is one of those naturally magnetic places.
Call it good mojo or breezy feng shui, the atmosphere at the Italian eatery is glowingly contagious. From the hostess who greets you warmly - even on super-busy nights - to the pizza chefs who say hello as you pass the 750-degree wood-burning pizza oven brought in from Italy, to the well-informed, friendly and on-their-game staff, the focus seems to be on making Casa Mia your casa as well.
Should you have to wait for a table at this upscale casual restaurant and bar, which does fill up on weekends, it's not so bad. There's comfy seating in the entrance lobby that connects the restaurant and the large bar. And there's an intriguing list of mostly Italian wines, some of them served in stylish decanters by the quartino (about a glass and a half) and by the mezzolitro (about three glasses).
